Many high-value locations — car parks, remote sites, older commercial buildings — have limited grid capacity that would normally make DC fast charging impossible or prohibitively expensive to install. ChargePort DC chargers with built-in battery storage change that equation entirely.

No Grid Upgrade Required

The built-in battery buffer absorbs energy slowly from the existing grid connection and releases it at high speed when a vehicle plugs in. Sites that couldn’t support DC charging now can — without expensive grid reinforcement works.
